Head Coach: Tyler Pierce
Sport Overview: Promotes discipline, work ethic, teamwork, leadership, physical fitness, health, mental toughness, resilience, school & community pride, and future opportunities. BBHS football opportunities off the field include videographers, and trainers. 
Requirements: Behavior, missed practices, and not following standards can affect team participation status. No tryouts. Just talk to coaches.

Sport Overview: Freshman, Junior Varity, and Varsity teams. 
Requirements: Must maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA and have no behavior incidents. Tryouts in the spring.

2025-2026 Softball Schedule

Head Coach: Frank Varret
Overview: Teams for both male and female students. Long distance running over natural terrain such as grass, dirt, and hills. Distance of runs is 5k (3.1 miles). 
Requirements: No tryouts. Just talk to coaches. 
LHSAA Outdoor Track and Field

Coach: Alana Boyer
Sport Overview: BBHS cheerleaders are the face and spirit of the school. They support all of the sports teams as well as promote and enhance school spirit. 
Requirements: Must maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA with no behavior infractions. Teacher recommendations are required. Tryouts in the spring.

Club Overview: Part of the National Beta Club organization. Promotes the ideals of academic achievement, character, service, and leadership.
Requirements: 3.5 cumulative GPA while following the honors curriculum. 20 community service hours yearly and participation in club sponsored events. 
Note: Only available for 10th - 12th graders.

Club Overview: Runs in conjunction with Beta; requirements for membership are just higher.
Requirements: 3.75 cumulative GPA while following the honors curriculum. 25 community service hours yearly and participation in club sponsored events.

Club Overview: Class representatives serve as leaders for their respective class and bring concerns and ideas to meetings to be discussed as a group. 
Requirements: Class representatives are voted on by their classmates n the Fall semester. Must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA with no major referrals within the school year elected.

Club Overview: Club for female BBHS students who are motivated to improve their world through service to mankind. The three main club goals are to serve BBHS and community, to encourage positivity, and to help members develop qualities that will enable them to achieve success in the future. 
Requirements: There is an application process in the Fall for this club that also requires teacher recommendation letters (see application packet for more information). Must maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA with no Fs or referrals. Members must complete 40 community service hours yearly.

Club Overview: FFA has several events for leadership and career development (ex: cattle, horse, meat, dairy, and poultry evaluation, small engines, welding, and veterinary science. 
Requirements: Open to  9th - 12th graders that take Agriscience course.

Club Overview: The club is for students interested in STEM subjects and are interested in pursing a career in those areas.
Requirements: Must maintain a 3.0 GPA in core classes and a 3.5 GPA in STEM related classes. 
Note: Only available to 10th - 12th graders.

Club Overview: Provides students with hands on learning opportunities focused on leadership, citizenship, agriculture, healthy living, and STEM. Members participate in service projects, educational workshops, field days, and parish wide competitions. 
Requirements: Attend first meeting in the Fall for details.

Club Overview: Yearbook team is responsible for creating and publishing the official school yearbook. Students work as photographers, writers, editors, and designers to document the school year and preserve the memories of each class. 
Requirements: Students must have no major behavior infractions and should demonstrate strong responsibility, creativity, and time management.

Class Overview: A national career readiness program and a unique combination of a class and student leadership organization designed to help students succeed in school, life, and career. 
Requirements: Enrollment is typically based on staff referral, student interest, and space availability.

Club Overview: A student driven initiative designed to inspire, empower, and uplift. Students are paired with upperclassmen as mentors to work as positive role models. 

Sponsor: Myeshia Mouton
Club Overview: Focuses on remaining drug/alcohol free, building positive self-esteem, improving academic skills, improving self-respect and respect for others, and enhancing skills necessary for a successful life. 
Requirements: Must attend 75% of meetings, maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards everyone, avoid violent behaviors and obscene language, and avoid use of illegal substances.

Club Overview: A national leadership program focused on cultivating student leaders who are ready to make an impact through service. 
Requirements: Must maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA, demonstrate strong character and willingness to serve, and be recommended by three core subject teachers. Behavior and disciple records are considered.
